Refunds and returns policy
At Family Villa Destination, we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Please read our Refund and Returns Policy carefully before making a booking.
- Booking Refunds
1.1. Security deposit: A refundable security deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your reservation and will be deducted from the total amount of the booking cost.
1.2. Balance Payments: The remaining balance is due 14 days before your arrival. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking, and deposit will be refunded minus the booking fee
1.3. Cancellation Refunds:
More than 14 days before arrival: If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival, you will receive a refund of the balance paid.
Between 7-14 days before check-in, you will receive a refund of 50% of the balance paid
Less than 7 days: If you cancel your booking less than 7 days of your scheduled arrival, no refund will be issued.
- No Refunds for Early Departures
2.1. Once you have checked in, no refunds will be provided for early departures.
2.2. We recommend you plan your stay carefully to avoid any inconvenience.
- Refund Processing
3.1. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days from the date of cancellation.
3.2. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
3.3. Any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or other charges incurred during the refund process are the responsibility of the guest.
- Returns on Additional Services
4.1. Pool Heating: If you have paid for pool heating and need to cancel this service, you must do so at least 5 days before your arrival for a full refund of this fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 5 days of arrival.
4.2. Other Services: Any additional services booked (e.g., extra cleaning, pet fees) are non-refundable once they have been scheduled or provided.
- Security Deposit
5.1. A refundable security deposit of $ 250.00 may be required and will be refunded within 5-7 days after check-out, provided no damage or loss has occurred.
5.2. If any damage or loss is found, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you.
5.3. If the cost of damage exceeds the security deposit, you will be responsible for the additional costs.
- Exceptions
6.1. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential options.
6.2. Any exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Family Villa Destination.
